UNITED KINGDOM – This week the official EBU YouTube channel aired the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest edition which was held in Lisbon, Portugal. Under the hashtag #EurovisionAgain the users of the social media voted Cyprus as the absolute winner, getting in the top by a landslide over Netta this time (a good payback).
But the interesting information comes from the UK entrant in the 2018 Eurovision edition, Surie. The UK representative suffered a stage invasion during her performance. Although the rules and EBU offered the UK entrant another chance to perform this didn’t happen.
All aboard! Looking forward to reliving some fabulous memories with you + #EurovisionAgain. I've put clean pants on for the first time in days. What a treat.

Surie explained that the stage invasion was not the only incident that night as another incident took place in the stairs during the Flag Parade, without giving more details about it.
After the stage invasion, the singer kept performing what was left of it and the energy she got from the arena made her not wishing for another performance.
The security of the event asked the singer to leave the venue for her own safety forced to her hotel with the escort of the police.
