STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – On March 12th the final of Melodifestivalen in Sweden will be transmitted in virtual reality. This makes it possible for the tv viewers to experience the show like the audience in the arena.
The viewers will be able to watch the show in virtual reality via the app SVT 360 which can be found on smartphones and tablets.
With this you can turn around in the arena and have a look at the show like the audiences sees it in Friends Arena.
In the final of Melodifestivalen the Swedish representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm will be found.

This year Melodifestivalen celebrates its 15th anniversary of the “Modern Melodifestivalen”. In 2002 four semifinals and a “second chance” round was introduced and since 2002, Sweden has won the Eurovision Song Contest two times; in 2012 and 2015.
