SWEDEN – Live from Rotterdam we had the pleasure to chat with Tusse. The interview started by asking him how did the Eurovision stage make him feel since he already has experience from a big event, such as Melodifestivalen.
Then we discussed whether he felt he is going to win the national selection this year. The talk moved to inspirations. Instead of asking him what his song is all about and how he wants to make an impact, we reversed the question asking him what are the things that inspire him. Finally, we got some interesting information about his outfit. Why red? What does it mean in combination with water?
At this point, we would like to say two extra things. Although we are not the biggest fans of the Swedish entry this year, something the delegation knows well, SVT gave us a slot for the interview, proving once again that the Swedish team is not blocking anyone with the opposite to their taste.
Second, and more important, regarding the latest racist comments against TUSSE, we as oikotimes, would like to express our full support to the singer and I challenge all delegation to paint their faces black when they sit in the Green Room. It’s hilarious to even discuss whether a black guy can represent Sweden.
