ALBANIA – New single release for the Albanian singer Elhaida Dani: E NGRIRE (Frozen) has been released from Elhaida to take part into the Albanian pop music competition Magic Song 2017 – whose grand final will be hosted in the Congress Palace of Tirana in December. Elhaida has written the lyrics and composed the music of the new song, which as been produced and arranged by Darko Dimitrov. The Gospel Choir (directed by Alessandro Pozzetto – director of the Italian Gospel Choir) has been registered and arranged in Italy. The song is touching and powerful, enhanced by an incredible vocal range, one of the characteristics of Elhaida’s voice, and by the Gospel sound. An English version of the song accompanied by an Official Video is expected to be out in December, together with a Christimas EP of unpublished English songs.
ITALY – Italian representative in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest Francesca Michielin, released a brand new song and video titled Io Non Abito Al Mare and also announced a tour inn Italy between March and April 2018. She will start from Parma on 16/3 and will end on 15/4 in Florence.
GEORGIA – During the opening Ceremony the first phase of the running order for the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place. It was Cyprus drawn to open the contest, Italy to conclude and Georgia in the 9th spot. Later on the producers of the show decided the final running order.
ISRAEL – The sixth episode of Israel’s The Next Star, the show through which the country will decide its participant in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest revealed three more singers to the next phase. Here are the results.

SWEDEN – Are you big fan of the Melodifestivalen? Well exciting news are here for you. On November 28th there will be a press conference where the acts for the 2018 Melfest edition will be presented. Aftonbladet speculates already the names who will enter the show this year but we have to wait a few more days to find out the qualifiers. Samir & Viktor, Benjamin Ingrosso, Felix Sandman, Méndez and Sigrid Bernson, Alcazar, Ida Redig, John Lundvik, Olivia Eliasson, Kikki Danielsson and Martin Almgren, Kamferdrops, Jonas Gardell, Renaida Braun and Kalle Moraeus are rumoured to enter the 2018 edition of Melodifestivalen, the most popular European national selection show.
GREECE – The uncertainty of the Greek national final confirmed once again by the national broadcaster. There were objections regarding the elimination of some acts and ERT’s artistic jury re adjured and decided that there will be no change in the final list which has qualified only three songs to the national final. By December 5th the record labels of those three bidders have to submit their final version of their songs and also to confirm they will pay the expenses for the project.
HUNGARY – More than 350 songs submitted to Hungarian national broadcaster for A Dal, the national final selection show through which the country selects its artist and song for the Eurovision Song Contest. 30 songs will proceed to the live shows. There will be three qualifying rounds, two semi finals and a final.
PORTUGAL – Portuguese radio announced that Eurovision 2017 winner Salvador Sobral won the European Border Breakers Award but due to health reasons he couldn’t receive the award himself. It was Ana Paulo (his manager) who picked it up). Salvador becomes the second Eurovision 2017 alum to scoop a 2018 EBBA. Earlier this month, Belgium’s Blanche received one for her success with “City Lights”. The award is supported by the European Union.
