ZURICH, SWITZERLAND – This afternoon, in SRF-Studio 5, the expert check of the 2014 national selection took place. The webcast was hosted by Clarissa Tami. To make it simple, this can be considered as the semi-final of « Die Entscheidungsshow » since the 18 candidates, respectively chosen by the four Swiss television companies, had to perform in front of a jury and only 6 will proceed to the final.
The jury was composed of 2 judges : choreographer Rafael Antonio and vocal coach Freda Goodlett. Only those two could judge all entries. In addition, 3 experts could evaluate the entries proper to their TV channel. Universal Music director of marketing Moritz Faccin (SRF/RTR), Option Music director Catherine Colombara (RTS) and musician Nicola Locarnini (RSI). After a few hours of deliberation , the results were just released!

On January 31st, on the stage of the Bodensee Arena in Kreuzlingen, those 6 songs will fight for a ticket for Eurovision 2015. May the best entry win and be as successful as last year’s Swiss entrant Sebalter who qualified for the Copenhagen final and finished 13th.
