UNITED KINGDOM – It was Sara Aalto from Finland who ended as runner up in the 2016 edition of the X-Factor and Destiny’s participation (Junior Eurovision 2015 winner) that attracted Eurovision fan sites attention over the past months.
This season we have another set of Eurovision stars in the UK X-Factor: Slavko from Montenegro, the 2017 Eurovision participant that is. Berget Lewis, Dutch national finalist and Jon Lilygreen, the 2010 Cypriot entrant who represent his country and qualified (rare thing for Cyprus).
All three of them made a fuzz in the jury as they were all confused on whether to qualify them or not (we cannot wonder why). But all of them are now qualified to the six chair challenge.
The six-chair challenge took place over the course of two days, from 26 July to 28 July 2017, at The SSE Arena, Wembley. Unlike previous years, where all four judges sat together, each judge was secluded on their own while their respective category performed. The three remaining judges sat together and gave their own critiques of the performance, before allowing the category’s judge to make the final decision.
