SPAIN – We cannot be sure if that’s how RTVE wanted Benidorm Fest to be the epicentre of the discussion in less than a week from the big final, but as a Mediterranean country that respects itself, the Spanish selection has all we all needed: drama, scandals and accusations.

First of all, the withdrawal of Luna Ki, who discovered now that she cannot use autotune. Fansites report there will be no replacement but RTVE will officially respond tomorrow.

Fan criticize RTVE on social media for not giving space and time for runner ups to take over, not to mention not even giving a proper opening reception for the gala.

Rayden, a participant in the Spanish national selection, accused Azúcar Moreno of having an attitude towards the other participants, snubbing them.
