It seems that most Eurofans agree with our previous post view that the choice is nice but ultimately either the song or the stage presentation will kill the Spanish dreams for the trophy, once again.
SPAIN – Following the official TVE announcement that Blas Cantó will represent the country in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, Twitt got on fire with the first reactions. Although we just opened our poll in our previous (and included here too) post, we can only focus on English speaking reactions, as we all know that Spanish fans will massively support the choice for various reasons. It will all now depend on two key factors: the song and the stage presentation. With TVE tendency to fail us in both factors, we just pray for the Spanish fans not to be disappointed again. In the meantime, the search for Blas Cantó is the number one trend on Twitter.
They'd need a very long reach to snatch a win.. Cute guy, nice voice, but Spanish songs tend to lack general appeal…

As a Spaniard myself you can keep this ridiculous festival for yourselves. That’s what you do every year anyways, you decide who wins depending on who offers more money to host it next year. What a bunch of bullshit. pic.twitter.com/5o6teH9ycy

Blas Cantó is going to Eurovision next year. So many memories of years ago. Let's see what happens.
