UKRAINE 🇺🇦 Ukrainian singer Mariya Yaremchuk, the Ukrainian representative at the Eurovision song contest 2014, announced the completion of a creative career. She announced it via Instagram. According to her, in the near future she intends to give the latest concerts and off the stage.
“With genuine pleased to announce that Maria Yaremchuk was finishing the last concerts and ceases creative activity…,” wrote the singer.
Recall that the Eurovision song contest 2018 Maria Yaremchuk was one of the commentators of the first semi-final.
Ukrainian singer Mariya Yaremchuk, who recently announced he was leaving the stage, told us what it plans to do on sabbatical.
“My performance at the concert “Liga star” – one of the last and in such manner, and in General. I plan to take a sabbatical for a while,” said Maria on the set of the TV channel “Ukraine”.
The singer said that during a creative break, wants to go on a trip:
“What do I do? I really want to bring a small backpack with things and to travel. As for music, I have plans, and one thing I know for sure: I will never sing other people’s songs, I will not buy them. I will sing only those songs which are written by me,” shared Maria.
Wee noticed this at oikotimes.com as well: On April 27th Mariya Yaremchuk was a guest of oikotimes.com in Athens as she was about to perform at SODADE Club in Athens, cancelling her own performance the very last minute obviously due to her agoraphobia.
Yaremchuk was born in Chernivtsi and is the daughter of people’s Artist of Ukraine and singer, musician Nazariy Yaremchuk. Yaremchuk’s father died of stomach cancer when she was two years old. Yaremchuk has an older half-sister Vera from her mother’s first marriage and two brothers by her father’s side, Dmytro and Nazariy.
Yaremchuk considers herself an apolitical person, but in December 2013 she declared that she “in the elections and in general, morally, and as a singer” supported (the political party) Party of Regions.
Yaremchuk was a finalist of the TV project Holos Krayiny. She reached fourth place. In 2012 she represented Ukraine at the international contest of young singers “New Wave 2012”, where she came in third. Yaremchuk was sponsored by Rinat Akhmetov during this festival. Akhmetov is friends with, one of the organizers of “New Wave”, Igor Krutoy.
Mariya also participated in Evrobachennya 2013 – Natsionalyni vidbir, the national final used for finding Ukraine’s representative in the Eurovision Song Contest, where Mariya came fifth with the song “Imagine”.
