GERMANY – Corinna May kicked off the ESC festival UNESCON in Hanover. It featured “Listen to the kids,” and the ESC titles “I Believe In God” and “Can not Live Without Music.”

With “Det börjar verka kärlek, banne me” Claes-Göran Hederström reached a fifth place for Sweden at the ESC. At UNESCON he also sang “Congratuations” by Cliff Richard.

In memory of his mother Joy, Bernd Peter Fleming sang a duet with Corinna May at UNESCON. Also the ESC song “A song can be a bridge” was part of the medley.

Unforgettable are ESC hits like “Rise Like A Phoenix”, “Satellite” or “Toy”. At the UNESCON in Hanover, a choir presented a medley of well-known titles.

Chiara Siracua has represented Malta three times at the Eurovision Song Contest. At the UNESCON in Hanover she sang her own songs and also ventured to “Euphoria” by Loreen.

The two-time Turkish ESC participant Şebnem Parker first appeared in Germany at UNESCON. She presented the ethnic songs “Çal” and “Dinle”.

Manuela Bravo from Portugal paid tribute to “Silêncio e tanta gente” of her countrywoman Maria Guinot, who died in 2018. She also sang “Amar pelos dois” by Salvador Sobral.

Last year, Elina Nechayeva was on the ESC stage in Portugal with “La Forza” for Estonia. At the UNESCON in Hanover she thrilled with “Scream” by Sergey Lazarev.

At the ESC in Tel Aviv, Chingiz from Azerbaijan has emerged as a pop singer. At the UNESCON in Hanover, the singer has shown a different version.
