LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – BBC confirmed the information for the national selection. For the first time since 2010 there will be a televised show on February 26th hosted by Mel Giedroyc aired on BBC Four through which the semi finals will ba aired as well next May.
The show will be named “Eurovision: You Decide” and will feature six acts as selected from the preliminary selection process in which OGAE UK was deeply invalided. Jury and tele voting will decide the winner.
The event will be aired live from The O2 Forum Kentish Town and in 90 minutes we will know the 2016 Eurovision representative of the United Kingdom and the show will include special guests.
Mel Giedroyc says: “I am a huge fan of the Eurovision and am honoured to be hosting this fantastic event. It’s very exciting that the Great British public will get the chance to choose who will be sent to Sweden and I know it’s going to be an amazing night. I can’t wait to get the party started!”

The public will also get the chance to attend on the big night as tickets to attend Eurovision: You Decide will go on sale on Friday 22 January at 10:00 am via bbc.co.uk/eurovision as eurovision.tv reported
