Eldar Quasimov (Ell) was half of the duet winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 alongside Nigar Jamal (Nikki). His new single is out now and is titled “Heartbreaker”. The song is about what to do after a heart is broken, says Ell in his press release.
“Recently, I wanted to sing a song about heartbreak. But that’s not the heart that is suffering, this song is not about the sleepless nights and the tears of unrequited love … I think many have had that feeling, when the soul is wounded and heart’s falling to pieces, and after many days of solitude, reflection, and self-consolation you want to shout: Be happy! And let your life be great! You deserve it and I am happy to know that”.
The song is penned by Isa Melikov and the lyrics by Grace James and Eldar Quasimov. Boe Larsen helped in the song production known from his collaborations with various DMGP participants.
