BARCELONA, SPAIN – On October 5th, the Spanish OGAE fans celebratd their annual Eurovision gathering in Barcelona at Teatre Centre Sants. Several Eurovision stars participated and got los of news from it. Estimated 600 loyal fans attended the event.
Jelena Tomasevic says that she would love to represent Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 although we all still await RTS final decision on whether the country will participate or not.
Sara Dawn Finer, also known as Lynda Woodruff said that she will never participate again in Melodifestivalen as a performer but only as a composer. Though she would represent Spain if TVE invite her and asked in public the national broadcaster if interested. She also criticized the televoting system as she claimed that in Sweden the Melodifestivalen voters are mostly children and therefore senior artists cannot win.
Estonian representative in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, Ott Leppland said that he will submit again for Estonia if he comes up with a song similar to Kuula.
Birgitta Haukdal, who represented Iceland in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest also attended the event performing on stage her Eurovision entry “Open Your Heart” the video of which is available in the post.
Pastora Soler, Spanish representative in 2012 Eurovision edition and one of the most popular Eurovision acts amongst the regional fans said that seh worked very hard for her presentation aimed to go humble and criticized TVE for the 2013 representation of El Sueno de Morfeo. Pastora Soler, said that her ideal representative for Eurovision 2014 would be Monica Naranjo.
