Vukašin Brajić, the Bosnian representative at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, has applied for the Serbian national final Beosong. He will compete together with the OT Band made up of Nikola Paunović and Djordje Gogov. Vukašin, together with the OT Band, competed in the 2009 Beovizija national selection with the song “Blagoslov za kraj”, (A blessing at the end). Although they were the audience favourite they came second behind Marko Kon’s “Cipela” (Shoe) to the surprise of many.
The OT Band was formed after the Serbian reality show Operation Triumph where all of the abovementioned singers competed and helped launch their careers. Vukašin, who is of Serbian descent, represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2010 with the song “Thunder and Lightning” and came 17th in the final. Applications for Beosong, which will be held in March, last until January 20.
