WARSAW, POLAND – We are at the core of Eurovision season, and the rumours’ mill is going full swing as usual. Every single year since 1995 we have the same gossips coming from Poland : will Edyta Górniak represent her country again for this edition?
2015 is no exception to that rule, and several signs are coming from Warsaw to let Euro fans expect their wish to become true soon…
First, the Polish broadcaster will choose internally, and a star like Edyta would never take part to a national selection show. Second, her duty as a juror in “The Voice of Poland” could prevent her from flying to Vienna. But, TVP has surprisingly changed its schedules and hence the diva has no commitment in May. Moreover, a tweet from EscPoland “#EdytaIsBack” let us have big hope in a comeback from the Polish singer.
Finally, a few days ago, a song “Nie Placze Juz” (Don’t cry already) leaked on YouTube with key word “Poland Eurovision sneak peek”, after being deleted by the owner… How weird is that?
Let the rumours ‘mill go on, and wait for TVP official announcement on March 9th, in order to know if the diva is eventually back.
DID YOU KNOW?
In 1994, Poland was a newcomer to Eurovision, and sent Edyta Gorniak to Dublin. The diva, with her powerful balad “To Nie Ja “(It’s not me) ended up second, and is, to date, the best Polish result ever.
