PARIS, FRANCE – We’re at the core of Eurovision season, hence at the core of rumors’ time. France is no exception! Many French Eurofan keep wondering who will wave their flag in Vienna, but the new broadcaster responsible for Eurovision, France 2, is keeping silent.
As every year, the more silent broadcasters are, the more frenetic fans get! Recently, one name seems to be slowly spreading over the web and the social media… Could France be represented by tenor and actor (and pretty face) Vincent Niclo?
His name is rumored every year (just like Emmanuel Moire actually), but two signs could let us think that he could be the chosen one.
First, Vincent is a talented singer but who hasn’t got, yet, the career he deserves, and a participation could be an effective booster. Let’s say that his face is rather famous, but his name isn’t despite an incredible number of works. Second, his latest album, “Ce Que Je Suis”, will be premiered on December 8th. A Eurovision entry could be on the track list…
Yes, Vincent could be a wise choice. A classy entrant (after the Twin Twin) could prove that France is, once again, trying a new recipe for Eurovision. And a crooner could well succeed a diva!
Will a French crooner be on Vienna’s stage, well it’s very possible. But remember, it’s still “une rumeur” and only Nathalie André, France 2 Head of entertainment, knows the truth. Stay tuned…
While waiting for the secret to be revealed, why not discovering Vincent Niclo’s talent, with his latest song “Jusqu’à l’Ivresse” (Until intoxication), first track of his forthcoming album.
DID YOU KNOW?
Paris-born Vincent Niclo is a talented workaholic 39-year old tenor and actor. After playing various roles in series and films, the young artist decided to focus on musicals. “West Side Story”, “Gone With The Wind”, “Romeo And Juliet”… Well the man is a performer. His first album in 2005 was not a success, but his 2006 “Night Of Proms” tour with a symphonic orchestra was rather popular. In 2012, he decided to collaborate with the Red Army Choir and was awarded a platinum title for the “Opéra Rouge” album. Later, Vincent also performed during Céline Dion’s France tour. 2013 was a prolific year with no less than three albums (and three collaborations)! This year, after the musical “Les Parapluies De Cherbourg”, and other collaborations, Vincent will be the beast in “La Belle Et La Bête”. To make it short, this man isn’t a newcomer, is a performer and has a real team spirit. Sounds promising…
