It seems like the city of Antwerpen will be the centre of Eurovision next August! Between 31st July and 11th August the second city in Belgium is hosting the World Outgames in combination with the yearly Antwerp Pride.
It will be a great time for sports, culture, conferences and fun. Several National ESC-stars like Nicole & Hugo (ESC 1971/1973), Kate Ryan will be attending the events but the highlight will be definately on 10th and 11th August!
On Saturday 10th August there is the official farewell party downtown Antwerpen with a special performance of the 2012 ESC-winner Loreen who will surely make the people dance greatly on Euphoria and her other songs.
However the big closing ceremony on the Grande Place in the historical centre of Antwerpen will welcome no less then the 2004 Eurovision winner Ruslana! Ruslana had the biggest ESC winning song hit in Belgium in over two decades with Wild dances (with 10 weeks number 1 in the official charts) so it will be a big return for the Ukrainian star. Ruslana is currently working on the release of her international album and it is expected that she will present the first single during the event.
